It is the desire of the editor, contributors and pastoral staff to use this online magazine to minister to the family of God as well as to reach out to others who do not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Through the use of God’s written word and the teachings of Jesus Christ, Cross Before Crowns will provide thought provoking articles, encouraging words of wisdom, and positive reinforcement a way to enrich every Christian’s walk with God. Cross Before Crowns will also include Biblical applications for personal growth, God inspired success stories, and bible studies for personal edification. The hopes and prayers of Cross Before Crowns are that through the information provided people will learn and understand what it is to be a Christian, how to apply God’s Word to everyday living, see the world through the eyes of Christ and finally, to show the joys of serving and ministering to others in the name of Christ.
Cross Before Crowns will feature articles that will focus on seeking God’s face and finding strength and joy in Him during the good times as well as the troubled ones that we all face throughout life. Other articles will showcase projects God has blessed, like missionary works and ministry outreach projects that are seeing lost souls saved in the United States and around the world! Cross Before Crowns will also discuss discuss current events that touch every Christian and effect our daily lives and provide personal bible studies. This magazine will provide, in the “Get Linked… Online Resources” section, the reader with links to other websites of interest to help inform, educate, mature and grow him or her closer to God. Cross Before Crowns will also include regular information pertaining to missions, ministries, upcoming events, Christian news and tidbits, and first person accounts. In the “Knowing You Spiritual Gifts” section, the reader will have the opportunity to find out what their spiritual gifts are that God has bestowed on then in order to serve Him and others. Finally, if the reader desires to know more about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, or if they already have that relationship and want to know how to present the plan of salvation to the lost world, just visit the “Know Jesus” section.
